Beyond the 6th

The 6th Painting Workshop of the Athens School of Fine Arts organizes the exhibition “Beyond the 6th,” featuring works by its graduates and collaborators from 2013 to 2025.

The exhibition brings together various artistic paths that emerged within the workshop, highlighting research, experimentation, critical thinking, and freedom in the choice of expressive media.

It seeks to document not only the outcome of an educational journey, but above all its continuation: what remains when the apprenticeship ends and the artist is now faced with his or her own personal path.

The 6th Workshop was reestablished in 2013 under the direction of George Kazazis, with the participation of various instructors and collaborators (Magda Siamkouri, Panagiotis Siagris, Dimitra Hanioti, Dida Papalexandrou, Ioanna Kafida).
